If the site exceeds it's bandwidth the search button gets temporarily disabled to keep the server going and the service providers happy.

it seams that the search button is ALWAYS dissabled now, and its gettin very boring, everyone telling you to use the search button when you cant, because its not working.

When debating whether to use the search button or just start a new topic, I just use some common sense. If you're gonna start a topic that you know has been said over and over again, do look for it first. If it's something strange, then I'd just ahead and start the topic.

Well, search is always working , whether it's the forum built in one or the google version, both work great and do the same thing. Never had a problem searching this site from the google version of the forum search.

The google search works fine. It actually works a lot better and faster if you know how to use it.
(it normally searches in the main forum, but if you make it say "/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=2" that will only search the riverside inn)[Lol not sure if thats right...havent searched in a while] Just learn to use it...i use it more than I use the normal search anyways. So "Searching is disabled" isnt really a responce...its an excuse to be lazy Last edited by Mandy Memory; May 03, 2006 at 08:28 PM // 20:28.. |
